TRM Vortex Sniper Series is a fast paced, 2-Gun, individual match series focused on quick target engagement and challenging shooting positions.
This series will consists of 5 regular matches, plus the December Finale. Only your best 3 regular matches will be counted, plus the Finale. This way if you miss a couple of matches or just have a bad day, you’ll still be able to redeem yourself. You must shoot the December Finale to get all your available points and walk the prize table.
We have the most amazing sponsors who have donated lots of great prizes for our Finale. Each match will have 6-8 stages. Each stage will require approximately 10 impacts to clear. Some stages will be all rifle, some will be all pistol, and some will require both pistol & rifle.
Rifle targets may range from 150-530yds, 2-10 MOA in size. You will be required to shoot from various positions, props, and sometimes standing unsupported. Rifle must be .223-.30 caliber. Magnums NOT allowed.
Pistol targets may range from 15-100yds, consisting spinners, hostage situations, a plate rack, a dual Texas Star, 50% & 66% IPSC targets. Pistol must be a 9mm-45 caliber handgun, less than 12” in overall length. Magnums NOT allowed. Red dot sights ARE allowed and recommended on pistol.
These matches are Time Plus, which means your score will be your completion time for the stage, plus 15 seconds if you hit a penalty target, and/or minus 15 seconds for the bonus. Par Time is 90 Seconds for each stage. Regardless of a penalty, the worst score possible per stage is 90 seconds.
To compete in these matches you will need an accurate rifle, at least 80rds of rifle ammo, a chamber flag, a variable powered optic, 2 mags, and DOPE out to 530yds. You will also need a pistol, at least 80rds of pistol ammo, 2 mags, and an outside-the-waistband holster. Eye protection is mandatory while shooting pistol.
Recommended gear includes a rifle sling, bipod, shooting bag, and ear protection.
We will have 2 divisions in this series. You may register to shoot in both divisions but you MAY NOT transfer points to a different division.
Divisions;
Gas: .223-.30 Caliber, No Magnums
Bolt: .223-.30 Caliber, No Magnums
We will have trophies for the top 3 shooters per division, at each match.
Following the Finale, we will award trophies, then a catered meal will be provided. After the meal, we will call up the overall series winners, in order, to walk the prize table. Both 1st place winners will be called first, Gas & Bolt Division. We have a little surprise to decide which of these shooters walks the prize table first. We will continue this for 2nd place divisions, 3rd, and so forth.
The Series Points per division will be as follows:
1st place: 100
2nd place: 99
3rd place: 98
4th place: 97
5th place: 96
Etc…….
Match sign in 7:30am.
Safety brief will be at 8am.
Projected to finish by 3-4pm. All shooters will receive a Laser Embossed RTIC Tumbler.
We plan to have food for purchase at every match. At the Finale, food will be included for shooters, and available for spectators to purchase. Water provided free to all shooters at every match.

All payments are final and only refundable with proof of military orders.
