Join us to show Unity in Our Community and reject the intimidating racist 'protest' planned to threaten the residents of the Sandpiper Hotel here in Chesterfield.
The spate of far-right inspired 'protests' which have plagued communities across the country is threatening to come to Chesterfield. On Sunday 28th September 'protestors' are planning to come to the Sandpiper Hotel.
We have clearly seen what these 'protests' consist of in recent weeks; violent abuse, threats and worse, aimed at refugees and members of the wider community.
The people outside hotels threatening and abusing vulnerable people do not represent our community.
On Sunday 28th we invite members of the Chesterfield community to come and peacefully stand with us and reject the politics of hate and scapegoating.
Whatever social problems we have in our society, and there are many, they are NOT caused by migrants and refugees.
We will be assembling outside the Sandpiper Hotel at 3pm to say.
