About the event

Why are bikes the shape they are? - an informal talk by Prof. Peter Cox
Prof. Peter Cox will tell us all about bike design and explain if these help or hinder the way we cycle.

About this Event

A look at why the bikes we are able to buy today are often not actually very fit for purpose and challenge some expectations of what a cycle should or could be. He will also talk a little bit about his new book and 20 years progress in the academic study of cycling and the way it works with policy and policy makers.
