Night Jumps @ Skydive Carolina — Sunday, September 7, 2025
-Briefing: 7:00 pm with Anthony Zerbonia
-First Load: ~8:45 pm (1 hour after official sunset)
-These jumps will satisfy the USPA D-license requirement
Requirements (mandatory):
● USPA B-License or higher
● Must complete at least 1 day jump on Sept 7
● $60 registration fee + 1 Jump ticket minimum
○ Includes FAA-approved light rental + 2 chem lights
○ Includes mandatory briefing and necessary staffing
● If you wish to do a 2nd jump, no additional registration fee will be required, you will only need to pay for your second slot (max 2 jumps/person)
● First night jump must be solo if you’ve never done one before
-What you will need to bring:
● Logbook
● Small flashlight for visual canopy check after opening
● Altimeter with a backlight
○ Bring an extra chem light if you don’t have a backlit altimeter
● Bright colored clothing
● Clear goggles or visor
Registration Info:
● Capped at 56 slots (4 loads) or closes Sept 5th (whichever comes first)
● Registration fee and # of jumps (max of 2) required to secure your slots
● Refunds only in case of weather
-Briefing will include:
● Night Vision and light adaptation
● Effects of Hypoxia
● Required and recommended equipment
● Freefall Procedures
● Canopy flight and landing in reduced visibility
● Hazards unique to night jumps
● Emergency procedures unique to night jumps
Please do not register unless you currently hold a B license or higher, and can complete a jump during the day. Slots will go fast!
