"Native Voices” Event Presented by U.N.I.T.E.D. Performing Arts Corp
U.N.I.T.E.D. Performing Arts Corp, a non-profit organization on a mission to preserve and promote Native culture through artistic expression, is presenting its “Native Voices” event on Friday, November 28th, 2025 in celebration of Native American Heritage Month. This event gives voice to the narratives and oral histories of local tribal members through song, dance, and storytelling, in keeping with the month’s theme of “Affirming Native Voices: Visibility, Leadership, Service.” At the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center at 7pm on the 28th, leaders and members from a host of Hudson Valley Native tribes will unite to share their culture and speak their truth. A day for Native voices to be heard!
“Immersion is the greatest form of inclusion,” says M’Lanie Hunter, U.N.I.T.E.D. 's Founding Director and proud member of the Cherokee Nation. “By shining a light on these stories, we are promoting Native culture and history from the source: their own voices.” The event is free with RSVP to

The purpose of U.N.I.T.E.D. Performing Arts (United Native/Indigenous Theater Endowing Dance) is to create narrative-based dance performances by inviting Native artists from around the country to the Hudson Valley. Using various styles of performing arts, they endeavor to preserve, promote and protect the rich tapestry of Native heritage.
