Intro to Aerial Rope: Pathways

Students will gain an introductory understanding of aerial rope fundamentals including climbs, inversions, locks, holds, and pathways. This workshop will offer both aerial and floor-based exercises that create a foundation for aerial students to build the body awareness and strength required for aerial rope. We will also explore some of the theoretical approaches to aerial rope as a distinct aerial apparatus. Students will learn strength and mobility practice on and off of the apparatus. This workshop will focus on technique, basic rope theory, and safety.
Pre-requisite- Standard climbs, unassisted inversions.
