Love hiking but not confident with maps? This women-only navigation day in the Chiltern Hills will give you the skills to plan and follow your own routes.

You’ll learn step by step in a relaxed, supportive group:
✅ Reading OS maps & key symbols
✅ Orientating your map with the landscape
✅ Basic compass use
✅ Estimating distance & timings
✅ Using landmarks and natural features to stay on track

No experience needed – just bring walking kit, a packed lunch, and be ready to walk about 10 km. All map reading equipment provided.

Led by qualified navigation tutor, outdoor first aider & search and rescue technician.
