31 photographers from Female Photoclub and Sisters in Photography present their works in the exhibition TRACE OF US at Garagen-Campus in Chemnitz, European Capital of Culture 2025, starting 8. Nov 2025.
The photographs explore themes like identity, heritage and memory, combining documentary approaches, self portraiture, staged photography, archival material and landscape pictures. Together they create multi-layered visual worlds that make visible themes as trans-generational trauma, post-migrant experiences, forced adoptions in the GDR, and women’s life paths after reunification.
