Introduction to Ceramic Tiles

This one day workshop will introduce students to techniques and tips for building tiles for the use in home decor projects such as backsplashes and table tops. Students will design and make their own tile cutter and learn best practices for planning, building, drying, and firing tiles for installation. The afternoon will be set aside for test-making student tiles. *Please note that firing the finished tiles is not included in the workshop. The course fee includes all materials as well as a light lunch.
