Welcome to a A Legion Imperialis 1 day event at Incom Gaming in association with Advancing Fire Podcast
Event Time Table:
08:30-09:00 - Registration
09:00-11:30 - Game 1
11:30-12:15 - Lunch & Armies on Parade
12:15-15:45 - Game 2
16:00-18:30 - Game 3
18:45 - Hugs, Kisses, and Rewards
Purchase your ticket choosing your prefered allegience to Loyalist or Traitor. If numbers are uneven on the day your allagience may falter in the great schism!
Missions:
Missions will be announced at the start of each round. Each mission will be detailed in the mission pack that will be given out on the morning of the event when players check in
Secondary objectives can be used if both players wish to. Secondary objectives should be selected using the rules in the main rule book (Pages 102 and 118).
Army Selection:
Players will field Legion Imperialis armies as set out in the rules for mustering an army in the Legions Imperialis Rulebook and any expansion books published one week prior to the event. Armies will be to a maximum of 2000 points.
All armies must be selected from official Games Workshop publications. Where unit entries or rules have been updated, either in a book or an official FAQ, the later version will always be the one used.
Army list submission
Each player will need to bring two copies of their army lists and make them available to their opponent at the start of the game.
Players will not have to submit a list prior to the event.
FAQs and Errata:
This event will be run using the Legions Imperialis Rulebook and any expansion books published one week prior to the event, as well as any relevant FAQ and Errata published by Games Workshop or Forgeworld. Where any rules are printed in multiple publications the latest version must be used, including any changes made in the official FAQ and Errata documents from Games Workshop.
Sportsmanship:
Every player attending is expected to maintain the correct level of sporting behaviour. The event organisers reserve the right to ask any player not felt to be maintaining the correct level of sportsmanship to leave the event with no refund.
Terrain:
Each table features a mixture of terrain types, a range of terrain types on a board makes for a more interesting game. Before any models are deployed agree with your opponent what type of terrain each piece will be for your game, see pages 66-70 of the main rule book.
We would advise the following rule of thumb:
Any complete building or structure should be treated as a Civitas Imperialis structure type.
Any ruins on a based area should be classed as Obstructing terrain, the base should be used to define the area of obstructing terrain.
Any area terrain, i.e. creators, woodland area, etc, should be treated as difficult terrain.
Please feel free to use the other terrain types as you see fit, as long as you and your opponent agree.
Painting and Army Display:
All models must be fully assembled and painted to a tabletop standard and on their correct size bases.
Incom Gaming is a Licensed venue, I.D. is required to purchase alcohol. Only snacks & beverages purchased* from Incom Gaming may be consumed on the premises.
*Exception to our food & drinks policy are beverages included in Fast food meals, supplied in a single use disposable container & hot drinks containing a non dairy milk alternative)
Refunds and transfers can ONLY be processed directly through us at Incom Gaming, please DO NOT buy anything through a third party as this will result in you turning up for an event without a space allocated.
