Following the outstanding success of our Christmas Craft taster days, we are offering a Spring and Easter Craft Day: a super Sunday of relaxing and productive craft: Easter bunnies, fondant chicks, Easter cards and spring pincushions!
1. Adorable Easter bunnies, filled with chocolate goodies of your choice - Kay Grey will be your guide when you make these simple but Oh so effective bunnies. A small amount of hand sewing will be needed to complete them.
2. Fondant Chicks - Julie Cross, our latest Tutor, will guide you through making these super cute chicks with a delicious tummy of a well-known Easter Egg treat.
3. Stitched Easter Cards – using Claire Salmon’s brilliant designs - Spring lambs, Easter bunnies, or busy bees - which are your favourite? Come and find out more about this simple stitched card technique, and you’ll never be short of the perfect greetings card again. Using small pieces of fabric and a bit of magic, they are such a lovely card to give.
4. Spring Themed Pincushions - Claire has also designed these delightful pincushions. Some hand sewing may be required, however for those of you with an aversion to needles, a no-sew method is also available. Embellish as you wish with the assortment of spring themed decorations.
Fabric will be available for you to peruse and purchase yet more fabric for your stash. Wendy always has lots of other craft goodies too, so if fabric isn’t your thing, she’s probably got you covered. Places filled fast last November, so if we are over-subscribed, a ballot will take place.
Costs: £15 per workshop (a discount of £7.50 if you book for all four workshops!) We have listened to your feedback from those attending these workshops, so the revised price for each individual workshop will now include ALL MATERIALS. Includes one hot drink per one or two sessions (max of two) Cakes will be available for sale, although you should bring your own lunch.
