Join us for a fun social paddle from Mentone Beach to Ricketts Point, and back.
When: Sat 8th Nov
Arrive at 7.30am to setup.
Pre-paddle safety briefing commences at 8.00am sharp and we'll be on the water shortly after.
Estimated finish at 11.00am
Meet - On the beach at the Mentone Lifesaving Club, Beach Road (opposite Kitchener Road)
Parking - Free parking on Beach road or paid parking at the Lifesaving club car park. Both are close to the water.
About the paddle:
We'll paddle from Mentone beach along the stunning Beaumaris sandstone cliffs towards Ricketts point, passing over coral and marine life before a short coffee break at Ricketts Cafe.
We'll then paddle back to Mentone beach.
The paddle is roughly 8kms return.
Skill level:
This is a really fun paddle that will suit all levels of SUP’ers.
Safety:
You must have a leg rope for this social paddle.
Life jackets are optional, but always a good idea.
Kids 11 years and under MUST have a life jacket on at all times.
This is a free paddle and is open to everyone.
As the weather can be quite changeable, please check regularly for any changes to the start time, launch location or reschedule to another day.
