About the event

Free Introduction to Rasa Yoga with Annet Richards-Binns
A joyful and inspiring introduction into the heart of Rasa Yoga.

Free to everyone.

Come join Annet for a joyful and inspiring introduction into the heart of Rasa Yoga ~ a modern yoga school that honours the roots & tradition of yoga while awakening your authentic creativity as an individual in our modern world.

Rasa is a Sanskrit word that means "essence, juice, taste, nectar and fulfilment of the soul."

Rasa Yoga is a bhakti-infused fusion of asana, mantra, myth, pranayama, meditation, functional anatomy, Tantric philosophy, shadow work and soul alchemy.

In this two-hour workshop, you'll be introduced to the foundational principles of Rasa Yoga and guided through a soulful, integrated practice that brings some of these teachings to life.

Please bring a journal / notebook with you.

About Annet Richards-Binns:

Annet is an inspired Jamaican woman with a joyous nature, vitalizing energy and a gift in guiding and inspiring old_people to appreciate the magic of their existence, and to feel good about themselves. She is dedicated to helping old_people flourish in their Well-Being, to feel truly connected with their inner-selves, as well as others and the Earth, through Yoga and its Meditation Practices.

Having qualified over 8 years ago as a Yoga Alliance-registered teacher, Annet continued to deepen her studies. She has completed over 1200 hours of comprehensive study on Yoga and meditation, including over 500 hours of Rasa Yoga Teacher Training. Fully committed to Rasa Yoga, Annet began her apprenticeship with Rasa Yoga Visionary Sianna Sherman and during this time, took up roles as a Teaching Assistant on two Rasa Yoga 200hrs Teacher Training courses, supporting students in their transformative journeys. Recently, Annet achieved a milestone by becoming a certified Rasa Yoga Teacher Trainer.

Annet thrives on the integrated practices of Yoga, embracing the teachings that harmonize the physical, energetic, and spiritual aspects of Yoga. She also enjoys weaving the spirit of play, self-care and creative expression into her practice and work. She continues her journey fuelled by a passion for deepening her studies, refining her teachings, and encourage others to embrace Yoga in their daily life. Closest to her heart is the desire to tap into Radical Joy and inspire and uplift humanity.
