A day-long retreat to support care-providers, therapists, healing arts practitioners, teachers, parents, and clergy, in which we'll explore somatic movement, sound, inquiry and Parts Work
Facilitators Carrie Hatcher-Kay, Kath Weider, and Stefanie Cohen invite you to this unique, full-day retreat for healing practitioners and caregivers, to explore somatic practices, contemplative inquiry and voice work through an IFS lens.
This is an experiential deep dive into new realms of knowing — where stillness, embodiment, imagination, sound/music are invoked as resources for the therapeutic/healing setting and for one’s own life. As the stresses of the collective find their way into our homes and offices, now more than ever, we need to find nourishment and rest and sources of wisdom.
Working with the IFS model, we will be exploring primary and ancient practices that move us towards more and more experiential knowing of what we call Self Essence - or being itself. Together we will be exploring not only what happens when we allow our parts to rest - but who we really are.
We will practice calming the nervous system and evoking the imaginal as a source of intelligence in these times. We will find ways to enter the wordless realms in order to reclaim the lost songs and signals of our bodies and voices. In doing so, we will find ways to move closer towards our innate resilience, power and wisdom.
