“Read, Learn, Grow” by Christopher Polson is a tribute to Becky’s unwavering dedication to her community and the library she loved. The design blossoms from two of her greatest passions: reading and gardening. Just as a garden flourishes with care and time, so too does the mind when nourished with books.
Here, that idea has grown into an enchanted forest of vibrant flowers, sweeping branches, and a sky alive with butterflies. At its heart, a figure rests among the blossoms, a finished book by her side, a quiet moment of reflection after a life well-lived. Poppies sprouting from her hair speak of life’s cycles: beginnings, endings and the beauty that bridges them. The single flower in her hand represents a wistful pause after a lifetime of growth.
And all the butterflies. They are the lives she touched, each one taking flight into a new chapter because of her garden. Look closely, and you’ll find a Luna moth waiting patiently, her guide for journeys yet to come.
