Distaff Spinning Workshop
Learn how to dress a distaff with hand combed wool and then spin from it using a medieval style spindle. The in-hand and shirt suspension techniques will both be covered as well as the use of wool combs for fibre prep.
This workshop is not suitable for beginners as it does not teach the hand spinning basics you will need to know in order to take part.
