The Running Over MSA 5K Run/Walk will be held on a 3.1 mile Cross-Country course, through the grasslands and wooded areas with multiple elevation changes. The Running Over MSA Kids 1K will be on a similar type course, just .62 miles instead.
100% of the proceeds from the Running Over MSA 5K and Kids 1K will go to Mission MSA.
Mission MSA is devoted to improving quality of life and building hope for people affected by Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) through:
Providing patients and care partners with trusted and compassionate emotional support.
Educating patients, care partners, and healthcare professionals with credible, critically important, and relevant information.
Building a sense of community by connecting and unifying people affected by MSA.
Funding patient-centric collaborative research aimed at alleviating symptoms, slowing disease progression, and discovering a cure.
Playing a leading role in raising awareness and advocating for those impacted by the disease.
All paid Running Over MSA 5K and Kids 1K participants will receive an Event T-Shirt, lunch and a Swag Bag (while supplies last). Additional T-Shirts and event decals will be available for purchase at the registration table, the day of the event.
Running Over MSA 5K medals will be awarded to the top 3 Male and top 3 Female finishers in all age groups (18 and younger, 19-49, and 50 and Over).
The age divisions for the Running Over MSA Kids 1K are 7 & Under and 8-12 years of age.
A light lunch will be available for all Running Over MSA 5K and Kids 1K participants. We will have sub sandwich platters, drinks and cookies.
