Winter Solstice Walk: Morris Island with Fi Lowry

We will welcome the Solstice going in search of sea ducks, loons, grebes and gulls, and maybe catch a Northern Harrier hunting over the dunes.

With a background as CEO of an international tour operating business and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, Fi Lowry has been designing and leading birding trips worldwide for 30 years, including to Europe, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Central and S America and many African countries - everywhere from Iceland to the Danube delta, Bolivia to Patagonia, Ethiopia to Namibia, Oman to Bhutan and the Galapagos islands to Madagascar.

A “wash-ashore“ on Cape Cod for the last decade, Fi has been delighted to discover that world class birding is right here under our noses!

Bring your binoculars or scope! Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for a 1-2 mile walk across shoreline and uneven ground.
