FREE Screening- Unhoused: Communities in Crisis

The Sisters Strain are pleased to offer a FREE screening of their documentary film project Unhoused: Communities in Crisis.

The film covers the last few months of CK navigating the current housing crisis by sharing first hand accounts from various community members including municipal staff who work in housing, service organizations that work with the unhoused, those whose lives and businesses are affected by the encampment, as well as citizens who are struggling with houslessness.

Lets come together CK to learn about all perspectives of this problem and explore solutions being put in place to combat it.

This will be the only opportunity to see the film locally before it is sent to film festivals. The Sisters hope, through this film, to build awareness around the specific struggle rural communities are facing in navigating this crisis.
