Set your dog up for a lifetime of good manners, fun adventures, and real-world success! Our Basic Obedience Level 1 class is perfect for dogs ages 5 months and up who are ready to learn the foundation behaviors every good companion needs.
How it works:
⭐ Orientation required before your first class:
• In-person: Saturdays at 12:00pm (highly recommended)
• Or, complete our online orientation if you can’t attend in person
After orientation, you’ll attend 5 weekly classes on your chosen day/time.
Already taken Puppy Kindergarten? You can skip orientation!
Your dog will learn:
• Name response and reliable recall
• Sit, down, and stay
• Polite greetings and no jumping
• Loose leash walking
• Leave it, hand target, and impulse control (“Doggie Zen”)
• Staying calm with distractions
You will learn:
• Reward strategies and leash handling
• Problem-solving for “stubborn” or “unmotivated” dogs
• How to use these skills in real-life situations
• Easy, effective techniques to keep your dog eager to learn
If you miss a class, you can reserve a make-up for a small fee (no free make-ups).
No reactive or aggressive dogs, please.
If your dog barks, lunges, or struggles around other dogs or people, give us a call! We’re the area experts in working with reactive/aggressive dogs and will help you find the best starting point for success.
