The “No Kings” banner has been lifted by many voices, but our meaning remains clear: we aren’t here for cosmetic change or symbolic gestures. We know our lives won’t be transformed by photo ops or small reforms.
The We Are The Axe protest isn’t about trimming branches off a dying tree, it’s about pulling it up at the root. This system was built to cage us, strip us bare, poison our communities, and crush working people into the ground. No ballot or politician alone can undo that. Real change means building something entirely new from the ground up, led by workers and communities themselves, not by kings, bosses, or billionaires.
On October 18th, from 2 to 5 pm, at the state capitol steps in Charleston, WV Fights Back calls on every worker, student, and neighbor to come together. This isn’t just reform, it’s resistance, solidarity, and the fight for real freedom.
