The West Virginia Women’s Alliance is proud to announce the launch of our signature civic dialogue program, The Folding Chair Series, inspired by the trailblazing spirit of Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, who once said: “If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.”
This statewide initiative creates intentional space for diverse voices across the political spectrum so attendees can learn about the political process, civic engagement, and hear ideas on bipartisan solutions to high priority issues facing West Virginians.
