Purple with a Purpose

Before we know it, National Epilepsy Awareness Month will be here—and we at South Carolina Advocates For Epilepsy (S.A.F.E.) are thrilled to share plans for one of our most anticipated events: Purple with a Purpose.

This year’s event will be extra special as we welcome international touring artist and co-founder of the Electric Minds Foundation, Drew Dixon, as our featured live entertainment. Diagnosed with epilepsy as a teenager, Drew has been seizure-free for many years. His personal journey, combined with his passion for supporting the epilepsy community through music and advocacy, will add a powerful and heartfelt element to the evening.

Guests will enjoy an incredible menu of all-you-can-eat oysters, pulled BBQ with classic Southern sides, and a festive atmosphere filled with purple-themed décor, epilepsy education, and special photo opportunities. Our beloved mascot, Andy the Advocate, will make a fun appearance, and our Inspiration Series posters will be on display to spotlight real stories from people impacted by epilepsy.

Tickets are $15 (ages 5-13) and $30 for all others, when purchased by November 1. All tickets are $35 on day of event.
