Featured Author: Jeff Shaara

Beginning at 4 p.m., we'll have a presentation from Jeff Shaara, the New York Times bestselling author of Gods and Generals and The Last Full Measure. Shaara's novels cover historical topics from the American Revolution through the Korean War, 15 of which were New York Times bestsellers.

Shaara grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, graduated from Florida State University, and now lives in Gettysburg, PA.

This featured author event is a part of the 2025 WV Book Festival. It will take place in Ballroom A/C inside the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center, and admission is free!

Book signings will be available after the author presentation.
