Expanding Your Toolbox: Using Playful EMDR Strategies

This workshop, led by an EMDR Certified Therapist and Registered Play Therapist, teaches West Virginia clinicians how to integrate EMDR and play therapy to enhance trauma-informed care.

Participants will learn practical techniques like "Scribble Away Your Worries" and creative bilateral stimulation exercises to improve therapeutic outcomes for children and adults. The training emphasizes client-centered, evidence-based practices that support resilience, empowerment, and the dignity of each client, while addressing ethical considerations and promoting developmentally appropriate interventions.
