There are many special Christmas hymns, oft referred to as Carols, that hold places in the hearts of Christians of multiple denominations, and are included in services every Christmas Season. Each hymn has a story to share with us… the composer and author of the words, what inspired that person, and the circumstances that surround the hymn.
The evening’s hymns are full of favorites, and a few not as well known. Some will be sung by soloists and trios, and some recorded versions by artists. Most will be sung by those in attendance, led by pianist Diane (Mueller) Long (Charleston class of 1978).
A 5:00 meal will be offered before the Caroling Celebration -
