Birdwalks on the Ashley

Join expert guides from Charleston County Parks for a special birdwalk at Middleton Place, where history and nature meet. Together, we’ll explore diverse habitats, including the Ashley River, a serene cypress swamp, and the historic former rice fields, each offering its own scenic views and opportunities to spot wildlife. Along the way, discover the rich birdlife that calls Middleton Place home, as well as the many species that pass through during migration. With nearly 200 species recorded at this historic site, every walk promises new and exciting sightings.

General admission is included with your ticket. This event is suitable for people 12 and older.
