Jefferson County Transmission Lines Grassroots Organizing Meeting

It's time to stand up and save Jefferson County from proposed transmission lines! This is an organizing meeting to create a formal grassroots organization so that we may take collective action at the WV PSC to urge denial of Potomac Edison's application for Gore-Doubs-Goose Creek and the upcoming Valley Link Transmission lines. This meeting is for Jefferson County residents only who are willing to work together to defeat the transmission proposals. We need volunteers who are willing to serve as officers of the organization, as well as chairpersons for various committees, and worker bees of all types. Whatever your skills or experience, we need you! Come to the meeting, and leave with a job!

Special guest speaker will be Tony Campbell, President of West Virginians Against Transmission Injustice (WATI) who will share how his group got organized and tactics we can deploy to win this battle.
