Meet us for our popular history classes with Freddie Kiger ’74. Though the colony of North Carolina reacted strongly to Parliament’s Stamp, Townsend and Tea Acts and, in 1776, passed the Halifax Resolves, the colony had its share of those who remained loyal to George III. This overview will document that tension and will, also, tell the stories of the colony’s drive toward independence, its representation in the Continental Army and engagements within the Carolinas.
