Sri Siddappaji Temple turst celebrates this festival every year with grand abhisheka for Thier Lordships Sri Siddappaji , followed by a boat festival, Lakshadeepotsava and distribution of prasadam.
The temple pond is decorated beautifully with colorful flowers floating on its calm ripples. The utsava Deities of Sri Siddappaji swamy are carried from the main temple hall to the pond in a pallaki decorated with flowers. An abhisheka is performed with milk, curd, ghee, honey, jaggery water and exotic fruit juices. The Deities also take a dip in the pond and are offered flowers as part of the abhisheka. The abhisheka is followed by a grand arati, after which the Deities are taken for a boat ride in the temple pond.
About 100000 oil lamps are lit up at night in the temple premises during Laksha Deepotsavafestival. The small town of chikkalur Hosa math is making all prior preparations for this festival.

10-11-2025 (monday)
6-7.00pm - Starts Puja hombale to Sri Siddappaji swamy.
7-8.00Pm - Starts of boat Utsava.
8-9.00pm - Starts of Lakshadeepotsava.
10.00 onwards - Distribution of prasadam.
