Ruby Bridges movie screening

We will be screening the Disney movie “Ruby Bridges” at the library at 4:00PM. This is a great educational event for students/homeschooled children while still being fun and entertaining as well.

This film is the inspiring true story of six-year-old Ruby Bridges, the first African-American child to integrate an all-white elementary school in New Orleans in 1960. The film showcases her bravery, and resilience, in the face of daily threats and highlights themes of courage, faith, and the struggle for civil rights.

Parents/guardians of children under 16 must stay with their children throughout the event. No drop-offs please. Thank you, we look forward to seeing everyone at this fun movie event.
