What's Up Doc? (1972)

The 1972 classic screwball comedy, starring Barbra Streisand, Ryan O'Neal, and Madeline Kahn. A mix-up of misadventures caused by four people having identical plaid overnight bags at the same San Francisco hotel. The various bags are repeatedly and accidentally swapped and stolen, involving two hotel thieves and a government agent and a cast of characters. Chaos builds, leading to a massive, slapstick chase scene through the streets of San Francisco, down Lombard Street, through a parade in Chinatown, and eventually into the San Francisco Bay.
