Touch-a-Truck

Tots, put your toy trucks away – it’s time to touch the real thing! Climb in, hop on, and honk the horns of some really big trucks and other vehicles during Touch-A-Truck Day! Tow trucks, fire trucks, police cars, and more will be available for kids to explore. Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic too!

The first hour of the event, 9-10a, will be a sensory-friendly hour. No lights, sirens/horns, etc. will be allowed. This is to accommodate our sensory-sensitive patrons. Thank you for your cooperation!

NOTE: in case of inclement weather, this event will be cancelled.

No parking in the lot just south of Jefferson Middle School on Sangamon Dr. near Crescent Dr. It is owned by the school and cars are subject to tow.
