About Billie Theide:
Professor Emerita & former Chair of Crafts Program at U of I. Her textile, metal, and ceramic work is in collections at the Smithsonian, Museum of Arts & Design (NYC), Nelson Atkins Museum (Kansas City), and Racine Art Museum. National Endowment for the Arts Visual Arts Fellowship recipient. Five-time Illinois Arts Council grant recipient. Distinguished Member & Past-President of Society of North American Goldsmiths.
