Every year in National Adoption Month, the Adoption Coalition of Franklin County, in partnership with the King Street Church Foster Care/Adoption Ministry, hosts some type of awareness or training event. This year, we're also partnering with Franklin County Keystone Family Alliance to bring the statewide KFA Equipping Director to share with any and all of us who work with children who have experienced trauma.
Caring for children and families who have experienced trauma can be rewarding but also very challenging. And lots of people do it - parents, grandparents, foster parents, adoptive parents, teachers and school staff, social workers, counselors, church staff and volunteers, and probably you!
