Narrative Medicine: How Storytelling Skills Support Community Health and Healing

This Common Hour presentation will introduce the discipline of Narrative Medicine and explain how using the tools of literary interpretation in clinical communication, interventions, and research can foster individual and communal healing.

Speaker: Hailey Haffey, Assistant Professor of English

Common Hour is the place Wilson College faculty share their research with the community. Common Hour talks are open to all. Presentations will be followed by an opportunity for questions and answers. All Common Hour sessions will be held on the second Friday of the month at noon via Zoom.
