About the event

There is Nothing Like a Dame

Tony Long has been telling the story of the pantomime dame to groups such as the Historical Society, Women’s Institutes and many others. Having played every pantomime dame at Thame Players since 1984, he is uniquely qualified to tell the story. His fully illustrated talk takes us from Comedia del Arte in the 16th century to the present day.
