Frank Kane is an experienced voice teacher with nearly 30 years of working with Georgian polyphonic song, music and culture, as well as body–mind disciplines and energetic resonance. He has developed a distinctive approach that uses ancient Georgian songs as a gateway into vocal expression, self-discovery and transformation. His workshops invite singers to release the patterns that restrict the voice and explore what lies beyond the familiar.

This weekend is open to anyone who can hold a tune when singing with others. No experience of Georgian music is required, and you do not need to read music.
Schedule:
Friday: arrivals, dinner and evening singing
Saturday: morning and afternoon workshops with breaks for meals
Sunday: final workshop, lunch, closing session and departures
About Frank’s Approach
Frank’s teaching draws on decades of listening to, learning, and teaching Georgian songs. Alongside learning some of this repertoire, he guides singers to notice how sound and vibration move through the body.
Through simple, practical exercises — humming, vowel sounds, gentle movement, and paired or group work — participants learn to:

Discover a more stable, satisfying individual sound
Experience how voices connect and support each other in harmony
