CALL FOR SINGERS
Greetings. We have just had a very successful summer patriotic concert in collaboration with the Columbus Community Band at the beautiful Leamon Rogers Chapel on the campus of Boys & Girls Homes of NC at Lake Waccamaw.
Rehearsals begin Monday September 15, 7-8:30 p.m.
in room D-108 of the Auditorium at Southeastern Community College, and we welcome new singers. See our new singer incentives below.
A concert of a variety of sixteen seasonal carols from around the world will be performed on Monday December 8, at the First Presbyterian Church, Whiteville.
We would love to have past, current and NEW singers join us.
We request:
1) That you attend at least 8 of the rehearsals to participate in the
concert;
2) That you preferably have some previous choir experience,
usually church or school, and that the basic ability to read
music;
3) That if you feel you have a contagious disease, especially
of an upper respiratory illness, that you NOT attend a
rehearsal or the concert;
4) That you pay singers' non-refundable dues of $ 70. per
concert semester by check no later than September 29;
New Singer Incentive: If you are new to our group, and meet
the requirements # 1 - #3 above, AND perform in our December
8 concert, you will receive a $ 35. credit on your next semester
dues as a thank you for joining us.
