Local Albuquerque band Juanita brings rockin' zydeco blues and more to the party! Debo Orlofsky (accordion/vocals), Tom Andes (guitar/vocals), Phil Petty (bass/vocals), and Zoom Crespin (drums) play desert swamp rock: a lively blend of Americana, Country AND Western, heavy on the Cajun & Creole seasoning with a taste of Norteña. Juanita's jambalaya conjures the bayou here in the high desert. The band mixes the energy of rock and roll with the insurgent spirit of alt-country, the wide-open-spaces of spaghetti western, and greasy swamp grooves. Juanita invites one and all to "Come have a stay on the floor!” Yeh you rite!!
