Join us for a powerful day of remembrance and restoration as we mark 15 years since the Line 6b oil spill devastated the Kalamazoo River. To commemorate the anniversary we will display a portion of the over 30 thousand origami fish submissions that un-o-FISH-ally 🐟 broke a world record! Thanks to the creativity and dedication of people from across the country, each folded fish is a symbol of our shared commitment to protect the Great Lakes and shut down Line 5.
Together with the Kalamazoo River Watershed Council, we’ll paddle the impacted section of the Kalamazoo River, reflect on the impacts of the 2010 spill, and recommit to protecting our Great Lakes from future harm.
