Centralia Balloon Fest

Centralia Balloon Fest is a family-friendly hot air balloon festival located in Centralia, Illinois. This 3-day event takes place on the 3rd full weekend of August every year in Foundation Park, a 300-acre nature park.

This year the dates are 21-22-23, 2026. It is the 37th year of Centralia Balloon Fest! This event is planned, organized, and hosted by The Greater Centralia Chamber of Commerce.

30+ hot air balloons are scheduled to be in the park on both Friday August 21 & Saturday August 22, 2026. A Flight and glow are scheduled on these nights.

There will also be 100+ booths of food/craft vendors and live entertainment.

It is $10/person per day to enter. Kids 2 & under are free. Parking is $5 a car.
