Movie Night on the Square Presented by Sinacola - Little Mermaid

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a free movie on the Square! The live action Little Mermaid will be shown on the big screen at dark on Celina's Downtown Square. Watch The Little Mermaid Movie where the youngest of King Triton's daughters, Ariel is a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Longing to find out more about the world beyond the sea, Ariel visits the surface and falls for the dashing Prince Eric. Following her heart, she makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to experience life on land.

Reminiscent of an outdoor drive-in theater, our FREE Movie Nights on the Square features a massive blow-up movie screen with seating on the bleachers or lawn. Before the movie starts, each evening also includes select vendors offering food and beverages and theatre-style popcorn. In addition, each event includes a free kids zone with rotating activities such as costumed characters, bounce houses, games, and crafts.

Come hungry, Celina’s Downtown shops and eateries will be open for you to grab candy or a bite to go. Attendees are welcome (and encouraged) to order take-out from any of our local restaurants & bars for your enjoyment during the movie. Also available on-site will be rotating food trucks for you to have a picnic in the park. Make it a date night, or bring the whole family! All are welcome - including furry friends (on a leash)!
