We’re hosting a networking event where your job title is the least interesting thing about you. For the first 60 minutes, we are a Pitch-Free Zone.
** The Rules:**
For the 1st 60 minutes…. No business cards. No LinkedIn QR codes. No "What do you do?" If you get caught pitching, you’re buying the next round of fries for the table.
Don’t panic! After the 60 minutes feel free to talk about your business and exchange business cards.
Here are some prompts- but I know y’all like to chit chat so you don’t need this.
Prompts:
• "Ask me about..." (e.g., my favorite travel spot, my sourdough starter, my worst haircut).
• "Currently obsessed with..." (e.g., a specific Netflix show, a new hobby).
• "Ask me for a recommendation on..." (e.g., local tacos, podcasts, hiking trails).
The goal is to meet the human behind the glass screen. Let’s talk about everything else. 😉
