Adopt - A - Street Clean-Up Day
Celina Runners has volunteered to pick up trash along both sides of W. Sunset Blvd (from FM 428 to Utah) once a quarter.
The City Public Works will provide supplies:
Gloves, trash pickers, trash bags, hand sanitizer, and safety vests
Trash will be collected by Public Works from our street. After the clean up we will need to gather our trash bags and place in one location for pick up.
Meet-up: Lykin’s Elementary School. We can walk over to Sunset from there.
The clean up shouldn’t take more than 2 hours if we have a good crew participate. Wear appropriate clothing that protects you from tall weeds, trash, broken glassware and the sun.
Friends and family are welcome to participate. This is a chance for us as a group to give back to our community by helping maintain part of our run route. 🍃
The next clean up will be planned for sometime at the end of 2025. 🤗
