Yes...we said BUBBLES!
For The One Bubble Run was created by M.A.V. Youth Mentoring to engage with the community and raise funds for local at risk children.
Our Why:
M.A.V. serves at risk and troubled youth in grades Kindergarten - 12th grade in Mercer, Auglaize, and Van Wert Counties. We have multitudes of programs that connect youth with positive role models who offer them acceptance and friendship.
Over the years we have built programs for The One Child/Teen who...
- Does not have friends to play with at recess.
- Who's family has went through tragedy and is in need of support.
- Who is facing homelessness or has entered the foster care system.
- Who struggles academically.
- Who struggles with behaviors.
- Who fights mental illness.
- Who struggles with trust and connection.
- Who just wants to be seen, heard, and loved.
It has been our mission to never leave THE ONE behind.
This 5K is our dream to spread awareness of our organization and to rally the community to walk (or run!) alongside us in our motto "Making a difference, together."
Runners, Walkers, & All Ages Welcome!
Check In will begin at 8:00am
National Anthem at 9:00am with race to follow.
Fun Run begins at 10:30am (no registration required).
Food Trucks, Vendors, Inflatables, & Fun for the whole family!
Prizes for 1st-3rd placements in each age bracket.
$35 per participant (includes shirt!)
