Join us for $1 admission to the AAMI!

We know that Black history is Iowa history and should be recognized year-round - not just in February so we're offering visitors $1 admisison to the Museum on the first Saturday of each month. Our current exhibits include 'Endless Possibilities' (trace Iowa’s African American history from its origins in Western Africa to the present—through slavery, the Civil War, the Underground Railroad, segregation, and the Civil Rights Movement) and 'Rooted: Labor, Land, & Legacy'
