La Breath Macabre, a play on the famous "La Danse Macabre" from the Middle Ages asks us to remember we will die, and to use this knowledge to lead a full life.
I believe cultivating a relationship with our ideas and beliefs surrounding death can help us to lead that full life!
In La Breath Macabre we will use breathwork to move into a deep meditative state to contemplate death, mortality, grief- and anything else that bubbles up for us to examine!
Surrounded by ceremonial sounds, scents, & perfect mood lighting- with the option to be wrapped in a burial shroud- La breath Macabre calls in the curious and the brave to explore life's greatest mystery.
Following our meditative journey will be partake in some grounding tee, integration activities, and conversation with some death-y snacks!
Please wear comfortable clothing, we will be sitting/laying down for much of our meditation so pack any additional items you may want to be comfy in those positions, and bring a journal + item for our community altar if you'd like!
***Breathwork is not recommended for those with uncontrolled heart problems or those with epilepsy, but you are welcome to meditate with other modalities***
