Kernels Playoff Showdown – Game 2 at Vets Memorial

The Cedar Rapids Kernels are playoff-bound! 🎉⚾

After clinching the 2025 Midwest League West Division First-Half title, the Kernels are heading to the postseason for the 11th time in 12 years as a Twins affiliate.

🏟️ Veterans Memorial Stadium will host up to four postseason games this September:

West Division Championship Series (Best-of-3)
📅 Game 2 – Thursday, September 11
📅 Game 3 (if necessary) – Friday, September 12
🏠 Both games in Cedar Rapids

If the Kernels advance, they’ll face the East Division champion in the Midwest League Championship Series.

📅 Games 1 and 2 will be played at home on Tuesday, September 16 and Wednesday, September 17.
