Jared McCloud is a singer-songwriter known for his earthy voice, emotionally raw lyrics, and
powerful live performances. After starting out in hard rock and metal bands, McCloud went solo to
focus on substance over flash—honing his craft in small venues and building a devoted fanbase one
room at a time. Influenced by artists like Tom Waits, Chris Whitley, and Bruce Springsteen, his music blends Americana, rock, and soul into a sound that’s uniquely his own.
McCloud's critically acclaimed albums Romance of the Atlantic and Painful Words of Loving Grace
established him as a compelling storyteller, while 2014’s To Live and Die in Your Arms—funded by
fans and praised by critics—marked his first charting release. His latest album, Vacancy (2024),
delivers some of his most personal work yet, with breakout tracks like “Mama” and “Good Enough”
resonating deeply with audiences.
Now signed to Rock Sun Records/Virgin Music Group, Jared McCloud is poised for his biggest chapter
